IDF Fittings

The IDF (International Dairy Federation) dairy standard is derived from the British Standard for the food industry. The IDF standard requires the use of smooth, crevice-free, easy to disassemble hygienic fittings, which are sealed with a double T-flange seal.

The IDF dairy fittings we offer meet the ISO 2853 standard for stainless steel fittings and consist of a 304 stainless steel hexagonal or round nut, a 316 stainless steel threaded and plain part, and a BUNA, EPDM or FKM T-section seal. Nominal diameters (DN) are in inches, according to the British standard.
