3D CAD files

Sofra Inox offers to download 3D CAD drawings of many of the fittings and pipe accessories offered on its website, directly from the product sheet (Download button in the example below).

These 3D files are offered in STEP (Standard for Exchange of Product model data) format.

STEP is an open standard, managed by ISO (10303), for the exchange and archiving of data in the industry and their exploitation in different industrial software. It ensures that the 3D file can be used in any compatible computer application.

A STEP drawing of a stainless steel fitting allows you to visualise its shape and dimensions, and to test its compatibility with other pipe elements. It is therefore a valuable document for all engineering work related to the installation of industrial piping.

In order to download a STEP file, all you need to do is create a customer account and log in. This creation is free and without obligation. Below is a video tutorial on how to create an account and download a STEP file.
